Rochester, NY—Rev. Jim Harden, CEO of pro-life medical network CompassCare, delivered an open letter to House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, urging immediate action to protect human life, religious liberty, and the American family before the pro-abortion Blue Wave washes away the GOP majority in January.
Rev. Harden has experienced firsthand the ensuing chaos when the Left takes absolute control. In 2021, volunteers were assaulted by Antifa at a peaceful, pro-life event run by CompassCare. In 2022, CompassCare’s medical office in Buffalo, NY was firebombed by Antifa militants, injuring two firefighters. His medical directors were doxed, and Rev. Harden’s young children were threatened at their home by a man brandishing a gun from a car. NY Gov. Kathy Hochul and others have vilified pro-life medical organizations like CompassCare, likening them to “neanderthals” and “terrorists,” even calling for a taking up of arms against them. More recently, NY AG Letitia James engaged in lawfare against CompassCare, securing Google censorship of the organization and pursuing litigation against First Amendment-protected, life-saving practices of the medical network. Whistleblower testimony alleges that AG James knowingly and deliberately leveraged her office to target pro-life people, in much the same way she did to President Trump.
Following the flipping of the House and Senate majority back to pro-abortion Democrats in the Midterm election, Rev. Jim Harden and his team immediately began communicating with the nation regarding the dangers to come and what the current GOP Congressional leadership can do to shore up the defense for life. NEWSMAX received Rev. Harden’s strategic input, which was delivered on November 4, with this letter sent to House Speaker Johnson and Senate Leader Thune on November 5.
“This may be your last opportunity to secure meaningful protections for innocent human life, religious liberty, and the American family,” Harden wrote to Speaker Johnson and Leader Thune. “I respectfully say, get the work done while you still can.”
The letter calls for three immediate priorities:
- Advance protections for unborn children, including the Life at Conception Act and proposed Personhood Clarification Act language.
- Codify essential Executive Order protections for life, religious liberty, parental rights, and border security within Congress’s constitutional authority.
- Demand enforcement of existing federal law, using congressional oversight to press the Department of Justice to investigate illicit abortion-drug trafficking.
Rev. Harden warns, “History has shown the Left will sideline the GOP as soon as they gloatingly claim Congressional Majority. An opposition majority will obstruct President trump’s appointments, pursue impeachment, and attack religious and parental protections left unsecured.” Rev. Harden continues, “The goal of Democrats is to lock down their control of the Federal government just as they have in New York, California, and other deep blue states. Their guiding principle will be, ‘No Compromise.’”
In addition, Rev. Harden predicts that the Democrat strategy will include the following:
- The House will revisit Trump impeachment trials after inauguration in early 2027
- Congress will attempt to censor Trump’s power particularly, but not the power of the Presidency in general, in anticipation of flipping the Executive Branch in 2028
- Democrat Reps like James Talarico will continue undermining religious liberty protections, Christianizing sins and vices like abortion, same-sex marriage, non-binary sexuality, limited parental rights, physician-assisted suicide, etc., transforming those issues into mere political opinion rather than positions of religious belief, protected by the First Amendment, thereby undermining and banning the traditional Christian voice from the public square
- Democrats will appear to work with Trump on
- AI data center deregulation under the guise of security against China for the later purpose of enforcing their secular political fundamentalism via hyper-surveillance of citizenry
- Digitization of currency and other holdings, like real estate, under the auspices of safeguarding U.S. assets from foreign threats in order to use economic participation as a means to enforce social compliance
- America will witness an increase in Antifa protests hiding under the mask of grassroots left-wing causes like anti-ICE, Transgender rights, Free Palestine, abortion, racism, sexism, etc.
- Left-leaning corporations will trigger a heavy “market correction,” further undermining Trump and Republicans, fomenting a disgruntled electorate, prepping election ground for a 2028 Presidential flip.
- Blue border states will collaborate against the federal government, re-enforcing their shield laws, promoting anti-ICE protests, while opening the borders
- Deep blue states will double down on lawfare against parental rights and pro-life pregnancy centers competing with the abortion industry while turning a blind eye to violence and threats against them from pro-abortion and transgender militants.
Harden admonished both current GOP majority leaders to bring these priorities forward before January, saying, “If Congress goes on holiday recess for Thanksgiving and Christmas without taking decisive action, you are complicit in the demise not just of America, but of the freedom for which she stands the world over.”
