Impeachment-Plus-Prosecution Needs to be Republican Presidential Candidates’ Position on Federal Law Enforcement Criminality

For Immediate Release: May 30, 2023

On May 24, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced his bid for the Republican 2024 Presidential race. “On day one,” January 20, 2025, should he win the Presidency, DeSantis plans to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray. He said nothing regarding the need for criminal charges to be levied against politicized law enforcement officials who use their office to attack pro-life Christians.

On May 9, 2023, it was revealed that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is targeting pro-life mothers as domestic terror threats. On May 25, the DHS’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program (TVTP) was revealed to be “engaged in an active effort to demonize Christian and Republican organizations granting over $40MM in federal taxpayer dollars to private institutions to investigate them,” according to Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center. TVTP is a supposed critical component to fulfill Goal 3 of the DHS Strategic Framework to Counter Terrorism and Targeted Violence, which is designed to “champion and institutionalize” bigotry against Christians, Conservatives, and Republicans. Leading a pro-life medical network attacked by pro-abortion terrorists and then virtually ignored by federal law enforcement, Rev. Harden, CEO of CompassCare, insists that turning the federal law enforcement apparatus against the politically disfavored is deserving of criminal prosecution.

Meanwhile, the unjust attacks by the Department of Justice on peaceful pro-life citizens, the SWAT-like dawn raids on their child-filled homes, and the targeting of people with “pro-life adherence” and pregnancy centers by the FBI continue unanswered. The House and Senate Judiciary Committees have conducted extensive hearings to investigate the criminality within these federal bodies, with no disciplinary action yet taken. Meanwhile, impeachment articles are being presented by Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene against Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray for allowing “the Department of Justice to target people of faith and those seeking to protect the sanctity of life.”

In his first interview after announcing his Presidential bid, DeSantis only offered termination, not prosecution, to solve the criminal behavior of federal law enforcement. Regarding DeSantis’s intention to fire FBI Director Christopher Wray for politicizing the agency against pro-life people, Rev. Harden says, “Firing Director Wray doesn’t go deep enough. Someone needs to go to jail. The Abortion Hunger Games need to stop. Wray, Garland, Biden, and others, should be tried for high crimes and misdemeanors, including, but not limited to, Sedition, Treason, RICO, Money Laundering, and violations of the 3rd KKK Act of 1871.”

Without an “Impeachment+” approach, Rev. Harden states that the corruption within federal law enforcement will not and cannot be solved. No candidate will be able to create the necessary reform in federal law enforcement by replacing Department heads. Rev. Harden has called for a review of the purpose of each branch of federal law enforcement with funding freezes while full criminal investigations can be performed throughout the institutions—to protect all citizens equally under the law—a “herculean task.” Rev. Harden wonders, “How will federal law enforcement—with 200,000 armed agents—be brought to heel? This is the question each candidate must ask when surveying the blatant conspiracy to deprive pro-life citizens of their 1st and 14th Amendment rights. Their Oath requires prosecuting criminality.”
