On May 9 one of the largest displays of pro-life solidarity occurred in Buffalo. Pro-life people maxed out the capacity of the Buffalo Grand hotel raising $242,000. The vision: Reducing Buffalo abortions by 50% in five years.
The group applauded hearing a vision and plan to cut Buffalo abortions in half in the face of what they believe to be the barbaric actions of New York’s recent deregulation of abortion via the Reproductive Health Act.
The combined efforts of several pregnancy centers is led by CompassCare. CompassCare President Jim Harden stated, “Women considering abortion feel stuck, like they need to have an abortion. CompassCare Buffalo’s job is to erase the need for abortion one woman at a time through ethical medical care and community support.”
