Hormonal Contraception Increases Breast Cancer Risk

A recent study found a 38% increased risk of breast cancer with the use of hormonal birth control.

Since 2005, the World Health Organization listed hormonal birth control as a Group 1 Carcinogen (along with plutonium) increasing the risk of breast cancer by as much as 96%. Since 1970, breast cancer incidences increased 242%. The increase coincided with the introduction of hormonal birth control, according to a global literature review.

Additionally, hormonal contraception can cause abortion, yet another risk factor for breast cancer. Other risks include increases in dementia, heart attack, ovarian cancer, stroke, and weight gain.

Knowing the highly toxic nature of hormonal contraception, should any doctor of conscience prescribe it to women without warning them?
