“I just want to get rid of this,” Autumn said, gesturing to her abdomen. During the ultrasound, Autumn and Justin saw a healthy baby and heard a strong heartbeat. Looking at the screen from the exam table, Autumn quietly repeated, “God’s gift… God’s gift…”
“No matter what, I am having my baby.”
As the lights came back on and her nurse finished the appointment, one thing was clear to Autumn. “No matter what, I am having my baby.”
Autumn and Justin had had an encounter that day. Not just with their baby, but with the Gospel. They learned about God’s plan for their lives and how Jesus came to redeem those like Autumn and Justin, who are weary and worn down by sin.
