Recently, Sen. Josh Hawley called on Congress to support his Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act, banning the dangerous chemical abortion drug, enabling women injured by it to sue the shadowy chemical abortion industry. Hawley’s bill parallels several policy points found in the 2022 Protect Women and Children from Abortion Plan, written by pro-life strategist Rev. Jim Harden, calling for federal action addressing chemical-abortion injury and fraud.
Applauding Hawley’s bill, Harden says it does not go far enough, insisting Congress must close the loophole permitting the U.S. to dehumanize entire categories of human, disqualifying them from equal protection under the law, ballooning into legalized systemic injustices like slavery. The solution, according to Rev. Harden? A Congressional Act to define the word “person” in the Constitution as referring to all people, without qualification, from the moment of fertilization to natural death.”
