Supreme Court Sets Oral Arguments to Remove Chemical Abortion from Market

Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court set Tuesday March 26 to hear oral arguments in a case that could remove chemical abortion from the market, cutting abortion by 60% overnight. The court agreed to hear the chemical abortion case in December last year after U.S. 5th Circuit moderated the lower court’s ruling to take the drug off the market due to its dangerous side-effects. SCOTUS then stayed all lower court rulings until after they hear the case in March.

Many believe this latest move to weigh-in once again on the abortion battle for the first time since overturning Roe signals the court’s intent to revoke the FDA’s illegal Clinton era approval of the dangerous drug in favor of the thousands of physicians that filed the original lawsuit in Texas on behalf of themselves and the women they serve.
