Is Abortion Racist? (RAN)

Is abortion racist? In a post-Roe America, New York remains the abortion capital of the U.S. The most recent vital statistics data for New York show that for every 100 black babies born, 76 are aborted. As a stark contrast, the white ratio is that for every 100 babies born only 14 are aborted. The black community comprises just 13.6% of the total U.S. population, bearing the burden for nearly 40% of all abortions nationwide. Some estimate that since 1973 approximately 20 million black babies have been aborted, representing nearly half of the current total black population. Ironically, abortion gutted the potential growth of the minority group so vital to America’s civil rights movement. Rev. Jim Harden, CompassCare CEO says, “Abortion is systemic injustice against all preborn boys and girls and sadly the systemic abuse of black people.”
