What Will Be History’s Verdict of Abortion?

What will be history’s verdict of abortion? Will history look back on America with pride, marveling at the multi-billion-dollar abortion industry applauding the resourcefulness, generosity, and support for women facing unplanned pregnancy?

When a woman considers abortion, it is because she feels coerced to do something she never imagined. A woman feels trapped prior to an abortion, sad during an abortion, and alone after an abortion. Despite the rhetoric of reproductive rights, abortion is at best the compassion of the cruel, feigning support of a woman in crisis, a mercenary support, beginning and ending with power or profit. A coerced decision is anything but a free exercise of rights.

Only when a woman is empowered to have her baby through comprehensive community support and ethical medical care is her choice truly free.
