Shocked. Overwhelmed. Alone. That’s how many women feel when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Trinity was one of them.

Haunted by a painful abortion from years ago and caring for a toddler at home, she felt trapped. The father of her baby offered no support. When she turned to an abortion clinic, they refused to see her because her insurance wasn’t accepted, likely a result of recent Federal defunding of abortion businesses. With nowhere else to turn, she came to CompassCare, desperate for help.

Then she saw her baby on the screen and heard the heartbeat. Her face lit up. “I’m not going to have an abortion. I just can’t do it!” she said joyfully.
