Brooklyn, NY— A pro-life leader’s call for impeachment and indictment of New York’s Attorney General, Letitia James gains traction as Anti-weaponization Czar, Ed Martin, calls her to step down amidst investigations into her alleged “40-year pattern” of illegal activity, including mortgage fraud, bank fraud, wire fraud, and falsifying statements to financial institutions. Meanwhile, James has been illicitly abusing NY’s justice system to enforce her extreme social agenda, SLAPPing those who disagree with her political ideology, such as President Trump and pro-life organizations like CompassCare, with bogus fraud lawsuits.
On May 6, 2024, James filed her lawsuit against non-profit, pro-life organizations including CompassCare as if being firebombed by Antifa and censored by big tech were not enough for her. CEO of CompassCare, Rev. Jim Harden, chided James for “penalize[ing] pro-life Christians for violations of her ideology,” declaring, “Letitia James needs to be impeached and then indicted for conspiracy to deprive religious liberty and speech rights…” also known as the 3rd KKK Act of 1871.
Ironically, while embroiled in defending herself against the serious allegations of fraud, she claims the statements of New York-based pro-life organizations are themselves fraudulent. She insists education asserting chemical abortion harms women and that they can be reversed through emergency progesterone treatment are false and misleading.
Her accusations are contrary to a review of 16 medical studies supporting the pro-lifer’s education. She also continues to ignore recent revelations that chemical abortion sends one in ten women to the emergency room. Astoundingly, James is also ignoring the fact that the abortion industry is in legal hot water for deceptively claiming the drug is “safer than Tylenol” while the FDA itself began a “complete review” of the safety of the drug.
Instead of dropping the case against the pro-life non-profits, AG James convinced a panel of judges to change the venue of the case to the same Manhattan court where a blatantly biased judge presided over the “conviction” of Trump for 34 counts of a crime that doesn’t exist in law but was invented just for Trump. Trump claimed the judge for his case was corrupt and the trial was rigged as he too was refused a court venue that was less politically charged.
Despite pro-life groups filing first against James’ bully tactics in Monroe County, NY by the formidable Chicago-based public interest law firm, Thomas More Society, and despite the glaring fact that none of the pro-life groups have operations in Manhattan, in violation of court precedent, a panel of four judges granted AG James request to change the venue of the case against pro-lifers to be heard in the heart of America’s abortion headquarters. Rev. Harden says, “It leaves one to wonder if the panel of judges that sided with James are just as politically motivated, as they too had to ignore the dangers of chemical abortion as well as the severe and obvious free speech violations of pro-life people which James’ action represents.”
CompassCare and the other pro-life groups filed an anti-SLAPP motion in Manhattan against the Attorney General’s irresponsible lawsuit which Rev. Harden says amounts to a “[Conspiracy] to violate the constitutional rights of the politically disfavored [which] will only serve to dismantle American rule of law.” SLAPP stands for Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation. One source explains, “Such lawsuits turn the justice system into a weapon, and have a serious chilling effect on the free speech that is so vital to the public interest.” SLAPPing is against the law in New York. Rev. Harden is calling for citizens of New York to sign a petition demanding Letitia James step down as Attorney General for illegally weaponizing the justice system to violate the constitutional rights of pro-life Christians.
