First Day in Office: Biden Commits to Funding Abortion

His first full day in office, President Joe Biden committed Federal tax dollars to abortion internationally. Dr. Anthony Fauci told the World Health Organization that Biden will revoke the Mexico City policy. This policy originated with Ronald Regan and bans federal dollars from going to organizations that perform or promote abortion. Trump reinstated the policy after Obama rescinded it. Shortly after Fauci’s comments the new White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters that the Administration “will have more to say on the Mexico City Policy in the coming days.” She went on to say, “but I will just take the opportunity to remind all of you that [Joe Biden] is a devout Catholic…”

If the Catholic Church believes participation in abortion causes a person to immediately excommunicate oneself from the Church, wouldn’t funding abortion technically make Biden no Catholic at all?

    Dear Compass Care,
I just heard your commercial (WYSL Rochester, NY) on Joe Biden and his support of abortion. Thank you for making it clear that, far from being a “devout Catholic,” he has put himself outside of the Church due to his promotion of and legislating for abortion laws.
