The Apostle Paul says, “Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful” (Titus 3:14). What deeds might Paul have in mind? The Lord through Jeremiah says, “Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor. Also, do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan [fatherless], or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place” (Jeremiah 22:3).
There is no one more fatherless than a preborn baby robbed of his God-given right to life. There is no one more widowed and estranged, that a woman, alone, feeling she must “choose” between her life and her baby’s.
